On 26 March 2026, a 23-year-old woman employee at TCS's BPO facility in Nashik filed FIR 163/2026 at Deolali Camp Police Station. The complaint alleged a team leader colleague made false promises of marriage, concealed his existing marital status, and made derogatory remarks about Hindu religious beliefs. Eight additional FIRs were filed by women colleagues between 2–3 April 2026. Following a 42-day undercover police operation, six TCS employees were arrested on 1–2 April 2026. The case was transferred to a Special Investigation Team. An eighth accused, Nida Khan, was arrested on 8 May 2026. The SIT filed eight chargesheets totalling over 2,000 pages by 29 May 2026 before the Additional Sessions and Special Court, Nashik Road. TCS has suspended the implicated employees and appointed Deloitte and Trilegal for an internal investigation.
